Job Description
Your work will have a real-world impact. You will get to explore pioneering concepts by collaborating with elite multi-disciplinary teams of highly educated and skilled scientists, engineers, and designers. You’ll see ideas become a reality as you create prototypes through Awerian’s rapid approach to design and implementation. It’s a fantastically challenging, varied, and agile role.
Every day, you will be operating at the boundary of technological exploration by inventing new solutions and enhancing existing hardware. Typically, this will involve analysis, computational modelling, prototype design, invention, laboratory testing, process development, and manufacturing.
Your problem-solving skills will be enhanced as you tackle complex electronic engineering challenges that test your deep understanding of engineering fundamentals and physical principles beyond pure electronics. You will also have many opportunities to expand your skillset into different areas, based on what interests you.
Requirements
You will have relevant industry experience working in Digital Signal Processing algorithm development on FPGA architectures, have worked on design and implementation of technological solutions and collaborating on projects.
In addition, experience in any of the following is desirable:
- RADAR or communications applications
- OpenCPI
- Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
- Embedded software development and software architecting
Experience within UK defence sector is an advantage; however, we will consider candidates from all backgrounds.
