- Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Provide support to ensure that all processing and handling operations are completed within programme restrictions
- Undertake training to perform the duties of any other non-craft operators, appropriate to the grade, in relevant work areas required / directed
- Work within approved operating procedures, safety cases and legislative requirements
- Identify any areas of concern or serious shortcomings which affect operations to Line Manager
- Ensure adherence to the regulations laid down in relevant company Procedural Guides, Work Instructions and Safe Systems of work relevant to the work area
- Comply with all safety, environmental, fire, quality, security standards, regulations and legislation and highlight non-compliance to Line Manager
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health security and quality and be a great team player
- Assist with processing and handling operations, within required work areas to meet the Depot outputs
- Support crane duties, cleaning of equipment, packing and unpacking equipment and materials
- Provide support for the safe storage and handling of products
- Safely move or transport equipment and hazardous materials
- Observe the movement of assets within the depot to ensure safety and operating procedures are followed
- Support internal and external road movements
- Perform the storage, handling and transportation of assets and equipment in support of production requirements
- Assist the Building Officer / Manager to open & close buildings. To attend all periodic mandatory and on-the-job training, as directed
- Individuals may be expected to undertake tasks in support of other teams and undertake other duties deemed to be within the job holder’s capability
- Undertake reader duties during operations, which involve controlling the process being undertaken and ensures no deviation from approved procedure
- To perform crane and slinger tasks to support operations in all relevant work areas
- To provide forklift / transfer support for operational requirements in all facilities
- Undertake the tasks as detailed on the Building Cleaning Plans as directed
- To provide support for ordering and returning items to stores and updating computer software systems as required
- Updating relevant databases and company storage systems

- You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
This will be funded by AWE.
The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
