Rydym yn recriwtio Cynorthwyydd Cymorth Hyfforddi i weithio ar B-Leaf a Wood-B, ein prosiectau garddwriaeth a gwaith coed ar gyfer oedolion ag anableddau dysgu.

Yn y rôl hon, byddwch yn darparu cymorth a chefnogaeth ymarferol i hyfforddeion, gan hybu eu diogelwch a\’u lles bob amser. Yn ogystal â hyn, byddwch yn datblygu sgiliau cyflogadwyedd yr hyfforddeion, yn darparu hyfforddiant mewn meysydd fel tirlunio, cynnal a chadw tiroedd a garddwriaeth, ac yn cyfrannu at asesiadau risg, arfarniadau a phrosesau eraill a allai fod eu hangen.

Byddwch yn cysylltu â theuluoedd, gofalwyr ac asiantaethau eraill ac yn gwbl gyfarwydd â pholisïau diogelu Awen.

Salary: £24,795 – £25,561 per annum

We’re recruiting a Training Support Assistant to work across B-Leaf and Wood-B, our horticulture and carpentry projects for adults with learning disabilities.

In this role, you will provide practical support and assistance to trainees, promoting their safety and wellbeing at all times. As well as this, you will develop employability skills for trainees, provide training in areas such as landscaping, grounds maintenance and horticulture, and contribute to risk assessments, appraisals and other process that may be required.

You will liaise with families, carers and other agencies and be fully conversant with Awen’s safeguarding policies.

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, reliable, flexible, proactive, confident and professional. An interest in horticulture, grounds maintenance and carpentry is essential as well as an interest in the care sector.

Applicants must have a recognised qualification in horticulture or the ability to demonstrate through competence and evidence, as well as an NVQ/QCF 2 in Care or a willingness to work towards this qualification. The ability to undertake physical tasks and carefully deal with sensitive and confidential information is essential.
