NFU Energy is one of the UK\’s leading energy consultancies, specialising in the farming sector. Our Energy Systems & Projects team work primarily with farms that generate electricity or have renewable heat systems, from simple biomass boilers to big, combined heat & power installations and solar parks. We provide a holistic service including feasibility, energy trading, incentives, compliance, and more.
We\’re looking for a methodical and well-organised administrator to assist our Technical Operations Team in gathering and submitting data for a number of energy incentive schemes. Reporting to the Senior Technical Administrator you will be responsible for managing the administrative tasks for a portfolio of clients to ensure that work is delivered to a high standard and within our service level agreements.
As part of your key responsibilities you\’ll:
• Running the processes that form part of our account management packages
• Periodic data submissions for incentive schemes (Renewable Heat Incentive, Feed in Tariff, Renewable Obligations, etc.)
• Support client relations through telephone and written communications
• Ensure that tasks are completed with the utmost accuracy and reliability
• Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks
About You
You\’ll have strong Excel skills and enjoy working with data and numbers. You\’ll need to possess strong attention to detail and be able to manage varying workloads. You will be responsible for the delivery of routine processes to ensure our customers remain compliant with regulations. Experience in administration, along with an interest in energy and a strong aptitude for understanding complex products and regulations, will help you succeed in this role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong numeracy skills
• Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Office 365, including Teams, as well as CRM systems / Databases
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues and trends
• Ability to problem solve and know when to seek advice or escalate issues
• Be honest, open, and have the integrity and drive to provide excellent customer service
• Be well organised, able to work independently, and use initiative to keep tasks and projects on track
• Be quality driven and willing to challenge the status quo
• Be a personable well-rounded individual who can fit into our team and engage effectively with everyone you meet
In return, you will receive 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), plus company benefits including a healthcare cash plan, pension, group life assurance (3 times salary), NFU membership, and more. You will be based at our office in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
