The predicted salary is between 40000 - 48000 £ per year.

AWE currently have a great opportunity for a Business Cell Lead to lead the Integrated Services Team in EPURE Business Operations, including, but not limited to, document and information management, business administration, data analytics and fiscal management. This role supports the delivery and operational capability of the EPURE Delivery Unit (EDU).

Location - Initial AWE Aldermaston followed by assignment to CEA Valduc 45 minutes outside of Dijon, France.

Package: £47,690 - £60,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience).

Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. We will consider flexible working requests so that your work may fit in with your lifestyle. Just let us know your preferred working pattern on your application.

We are looking for an innovative thinker with experience of leading a multi-disciplinary team who will support the delivery and operational capability of EDU. You should have experience of fiscal budget management and an understanding of corporate insights and analytics. This is a delivery focused role, so a track record of delivery and the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders across the business is imperative.

Ideal Candidates will have the following skills, experience, and behaviours:

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Proven track record of planning and delivering complex programmes of work.
  • Accomplished in the analysis and reporting of key performance indicators.
  • Working with internal & external stakeholders, service providers and customers to maintain service level agreements.

Whilst not to be considered a checklist, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:

  • Experience of adeptly managing and influencing a wide range of senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of driving efficiencies and eradicating waste.
  • Skilled in facilitating others to think strategically.
  • Experience of managing budgets with proven commercial awareness.
  • Evidence of previous experience managing business operations.
  • Knowledge of how to present high level metrics and management information.
  • Previous experience of working with project planning and value streams.

You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Due to the classified nature of the work involved, there are limited opportunities to work from home in this role. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will spend the majority of their time working on site at AWE Aldermaston.
