About Us
Eryri National Park Authority (ENPA) protects the natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park. Covering 823 square miles, the park is home to the highest mountain in Wales, the largest natural lake in Wales, and over 26,000 people.
We are now looking for a Head of Administration and Customer Care to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week. Welsh language skills are essential for the job. Please read the job description for the exact level required for this job role.

The Role
As our Head of Administration and Customer Care, you will lead the delivery and development of our democratic, translation and central administration services. Specifically, you will take the lead in the day-to-day management and development of services whilst overseeing supervisory and administrative teams, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, compliantly and within budget. Managing all activities relating to Freedom of Information, Welsh Language Standards and equality legislation, you will maintain key corporate strategies, policies and procedures to support effective governance and customer service.
Additionally, you will:
- Maintain and review the Welsh Language Promotion Strategy and Strategic Equality Plan
- Develop and manage the Authority’s corporate complaints procedure
- Provide advice and guidance to staff and Authority Members
- Negotiate and monitor corporate procurement contracts and systems
- Produce, test and update the Business Continuity Plan
- Support the production of the Annual Governance Statement and Corporate Risk Register
About You
To be considered as our Head of Administration and Customer Care, you will need:
- The ability to communicate and undertake all requirements of the post in Welsh and English
- Extensive relevant experience in administration and customer care at a senior level
- Experience of managing, leading and motivating teams.
- An awareness of Local Government Democratic Functions and Corporate Governance
- Knowledge of legislation relating to Freedom of Information, Welsh Language Standards and Equality
- To be educated to degree level, equivalent professional qualification or proven significant relevant experience
