A Fabricator Welder with proven welding and fabrication experience across stainless steel and/or carbon steel is required for a precision engineering company based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The role includes supporting high‑quality fabrication and welding projects within a busy precision engineering environment, and occasionally assisting with mechanical installation works at client sites, including nuclear power stations and food manufacturing facilities.

Duties
- Weld and fabricate stainless steel and/or carbon steel components
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings accurately
- Produce work to a high standard within a precision engineering environment
- Use TIG and/or MIG welding processes where required
- Work efficiently as part of a busy fabrication and welding team
- Occasionally assist with mechanical installation works at client sites
- Follow safe working practices within the workshop and on client sites
- Liaise effectively with colleagues to support smooth workflow and project delivery
Candidate requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication and welding of stainless steel and/or carbon steel
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering fabrication drawings
- Experience with coded TIG/MIG welding desirable but not essential
- Highly motivated, flexible and responsive to change
- Calm under pressure in a fast‑paced working environment
- Methodical, communicative and able to take ownership of tasks
- Well‑capable of working well with colleagues and supporting wider workshop requirements
