We have a fantastic new opportunity to join our team at SpaFlo for an organised, pro-active Operations Manager with strong team leadership, project coordination, customer service, supplier management and manufacturing support skills.

SALARY: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

LOCATION: Widnes, Cheshire, North West England (100% Office Based)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Operations Manager with excellent organisational, communication and team leadership skills. As an Operations Manager you will act as a central point of contact between the Managing Director, customers, suppliers, manufacturing teams and site engineering teams, helping ensure projects are coordinated smoothly and professionally. This is a hands‑on, office‑based role within a busy manufacturing environment, working on bespoke luxury pool, spa and hot tub projects for high‑net‑worth private clients and commercial organisations. The Operations Manager role will suit someone who is highly organised, customer‑focused and comfortable working in a practical, operational setting rather than a traditional corporate office.

SpaFlo is the UK’s leading manufacturer of stainless steel vitality spas, swimming pools and accessories, hydrotherapy pools and stainless steel hot tubs, supplying clients across the UK and internationally. We provide bespoke design consultancy and manufacturing expertise for luxury pool, spa and hot tub projects, working with high‑net‑worth private clients and commercial organisations.

DUTIES

  • Operational Leadership: Drive daily operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer delivery deadlines are met
  • Central Point of Contact: Liaise closely with the Managing Director, customers, suppliers, manufacturing teams and site engineering teams
  • Customer Communication: Support customers with order updates, aftersales queries and project‑related information
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate internal teams to ensure workloads, priorities and project requirements are clearly communicated
  • Project Coordination: Oversee smaller projects and assist with technical specifications for larger bespoke projects
  • Manufacturing Support: Work closely with production and engineering teams within a busy, practical manufacturing environment
  • Process Improvement: Champion continuous improvement across the business, supporting more efficient ways of working
  • Compliance and Safety: Support health and safety (HSE), technical standards and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 9001/27001)
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, purchasing, materials and resource forecasting
  • Sales Support: Assist with pricing, job costing and customer sales support where required

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

  • Operations or Project Experience: Previous experience as an Operations Manager, Project Manager, Project Coordinator or similar
  • Leadership Skills: Strong communication and team leadership skills with the ability to coordinate people, priorities and deadlines
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent planning and multitasking skills, with confidence managing several projects and tasks at once
  • Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to liaise professionally with high‑net‑worth private clients and commercial customers
  • Supplier Coordination: Confident communicating with suppliers, internal teams and external contacts to keep projects moving forward
  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to balance customer expectations, budgets, pricing, resources and business requirements
  • Excel Skills: Strong numeracy skills with experience using Microsoft Excel for budgets, pricing, reporting or project tracking
  • Practical Mindset: Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment rather than a traditional corporate office setting

DESIRABLE

  • Manufacturing Background: Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Industry Experience: Experience within the swimming pool, spa or hot tub industry
  • CAD Knowledge: Familiarity with CAD or technical design software to review plans, drawings and measurements
