We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Prep Chef to support a growing café operation within a popular visitor destination. This role plays a vital part in delivering consistently high standards of food preparation and kitchen organisation. As a Prep Chef you will work closely with senior kitchen staff to prepare fresh ingredients for daily service and events, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency at all times. The Prep Chef role offers sociable working hours, variety through occasional evening events, and the chance to be part of a collaborative kitchen team focused on great food and guest experience.
DUTIES
- Food Preparation: Preparing high-quality ingredients for daily café service and events
- Kitchen Support: Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with smooth day-to-day operations
- Stock Handling: Receiving and storing deliveries correctly and safely
- Food Standards: Ensuring food is prepared to required quality and presentation standards
- Health and Safety: Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment
- Cleaning Duties: Completing regular cleaning tasks in line with food safety standard
