We have a number of fantastic new job opportunities for an Adult Skills Core Tutor / Adult Education Teacher. The organisation believes learning should be available to everyone. Working as an Adult Skills Core Tutor / Adult Education Teacher, you will deliver ESOL, Health and Social Care, Maths, Step into Care and Teaching & Learning for the upcoming academic year. DUTIES

  • Provide the highest possible quality teaching and learning to a group of learners.
  • Provide engaging teaching, learning and assessment with a creative and supportive approach to teaching, adapting to a range of learning styles, and ability to differentiate delivery to learners with mixed abilities to develop learners' knowledge and understanding.
  • Undertake effective initial assessments and diagnostic activities and prepare course materials, ensuring a wide range of formative and summative assessment practices, which motivates and stretches learners to reach their objectives.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, CertEd, DET, AET Level 3 minimum).
  • A Level 5 subject specialism for accredited provision (ideal, but not essential).
  • Confidence using diagnostic assessments and planning learner journeys.
  • Experience working with adults, especially those who may face barriers to learning.
  • A collaborative attitude and a real passion for lifelong learning.
  • Familiarity with RARPA and OFSTED’s Education Inspection Framework is a plus.
