Technical Support Engineer / IT Technician
An excellent opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer / IT Technician to join a friendly and motivated IT support team providing high-quality services to schools, charities and businesses across the North East.

SALARY: £24,938 to £37,142 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, North East England

PLEASE NOTE: You will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle daily (All journeys/mileage is paid for by the company)

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer / IT Technician to deliver ICT support across multiple organisations in the North East.
As a Technical Support Engineer / IT Technician you will play a key role in supporting servers, networks, end user devices and cloud technologies such as Office 365, Gmail and Azure.
The Technical Support Engineer / IT Technician role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to provide exceptional customer service while developing their technical career.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Technical Support Engineer / IT Technician include:
- Providing ICT Support: Deliver technical support for schools, charities and businesses across the North East
- Installing and Configuring: Set up networks, servers, PCs, Macs and related software
- Cloud Services Support: Assist with Microsoft and Google cloud platforms including Azure, Office 365 and Gmail
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues across hardware and software systems
- Customer Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients at all levels in a professional and helpful manner
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to deliver projects and provide cross-team support
- Planning and Organisation: Manage your own workload and contribute to medium and long-term project planning
- Technical Development: Keep up to date with IT changes and proactively develop skills
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven experience of working in an IT environment
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Microsoft and Apple operating systems
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Full driving licence and daily access to a vehicle
DESIRABLE
- Experience with Office 365, Azure, Gmail or Intune
- Knowledge of projectors, interactive displays or whiteboards
- Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Meraki or Casper
- Experience with virtualisation technologies such as Microsoft or VMware
- Knowledge of networking components such as switches
