A fantastic opportunity for a Senior or Semi Senior Accountant to join an accountancy practice, supporting clients with statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounts.
Location: Saltash, Cornwall (PL12) or Newton Abbot, Devon (TQ12)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday - with the option to alter your hours to work extra Monday to Thursday and finish at 2.00pm on a Friday.
Your duties as the Senior or Semi Senior Accountant include:
- Limited Company Accounts: prepare accounts for a range of clients.
- Tax Returns: prepare tax returns accurately and in line with relevant requirements.
- Management Accounts: prepare management accounts to support client finance functions.
- Accounting Technology: use modern accounting systems and digital tools to streamline work.
- Finance Support: help clients gain clear insight into their finance function and business performance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice environment.
- Experience preparing limited company accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and management accounts.
- Achieved AAT Level 3 or above, or equivalent experience.
- Comfortable working with new technology and digital accounting systems.
- Experience using Xero and Dext would be beneficial.
