We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Secure & Complex Services Advocate to join our team in Exeter. This is an opportunity to make a real impact within our busy Advocacy department.
Responsibilities
As a Secure & Complex Services Advocate, you will:
- advocate on behalf of vulnerable adults with profound and multiple needs, ensuring their voices are heard and rights are upheld
- provide persuasive verbal and written representations, working in partnership with clients and professionals
- represent individuals’ needs and preferences, handling sensitive information with confidentiality
- work independently with strong time management skills
Hours, Location & Salary
Hours of Work: Part-time, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 9 am – 5 pm
Location: Office based – The Pinhoe Surgery Exeter. Applicants must live within the area, have a full driver’s licence and access to their own transport
Salary: Starting Salary of £9696.96 (Full time salary equivalent £24,242.40 per annum)
Contract type: Permanent
Requirements
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Experience working with vulnerable adults in health, social care, or voluntary settings
- Proven ability to provide persuasive verbal and written representations
- Strong time management and computer literacy
- Flexibility, with a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
