JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 8 Hour Shifts / 3-shift rotations, between 06:00 until 14:00 (Monday to Saturday), 14:00 until 22:00 (Monday to Friday) and 22:00 until 06:00 (Monday to Friday) – (Average 42.66 hours per week)
Overtime paid at x1.5 Weekdays & Saturdays & x2.0 Sundays and Bank Holidays. Plus, Free drinks (3 per Shift) and Paid Breaks.
Duties:
- Delivering Operator Training: Providing hands-on and classroom-based training on corrugator operation.
- Supporting Safe Working Practices: Promoting health and safety standards and safe systems of work.
- Developing Training Materials: Creating and maintaining training guides and operating procedures.
- Monitoring Competency Levels: Assessing operator skills and identifying further development needs.
- Supporting Shift Operations: Stepping into shift cover when required to support production continuity.
- Driving Continuous Improvement: Sharing best practice to improve efficiency, quality, and output.
- Maintaining Machine Standards: Ensuring correct setup, operation, and care of corrugator equipment.
Candidate Requirements:
ESSENTIAL
- Corrugator Experience: Proven experience working with corrugator machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Training Capability: Ability to coach, mentor, and train production operatives effectively.
- Health and Safety Focus: Strong awareness of safe working practices and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Clear, confident communication with individuals and teams.
- Flexible Approach: Willingness to support rotating shift patterns when required.
DESIRABLE
- Leadership Exposure: Experience supporting or covering supervisory or shift management duties.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Interest in improving processes, quality, and performance.
