Science Teacher

As a Science Teacher you will deliver well-structured lessons, support student progress and ensure high-quality learning across all disciplines.

The role of Science Teacher also involves contributing to curriculum development, using strong behaviour management skills and creating engaging teaching resources that inspire learners.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Science Teacher include:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Teach across Science disciplines to a range of abilities
  • Support Student Progress: Monitor learning development and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain Classroom Standards: Use effective classroom management and behaviour techniques
  • Prepare Teaching Resources: Develop high-quality lesson materials and practical activities
  • Contribute to Curriculum Planning: Support the organisation’s well-resourced five-year programme
  • Promote Safeguarding: Ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in Enrichment: Assist with trips, events and wider school activities

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualified Teacher Status – or ECT status

  • Experience with classroom management and positive behaviour strategies
  • Ability to create effective teaching resources
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
