Sales Executive / B2B Sales Development Representative (SDR) who has a background in B2B business development with experience managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting / lead generation, meeting / presenting to businesses and decision makers and negotiating and closing sales is required for a well-established company based in Syston, Leicester, Leicestershire, East Midlands.
SALARY: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (Basic Salary) Depending on Experience / £42,000 -£45,000+ OTE (uncapped), plus Additional Commission Payments (based on % of revenue over target) + Benefits
LOCATION: Syston, Leicester, Leicestershire, East Midlands (LE7) (100% Office Based for the First 3 Months. Hybrid Working Available after Passing 3 Month Induction Period)

The company is looking to increase their rate of growth with specialist skills in the sales and marketing function of the business. With recent additions to the marketing and lead generation teams, the business needs a motivated and capable Sales Executive / B2B Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is ready to build a pipeline and deliver on leads.
The company has many unique selling points within the market and believe that the right person can hit and exceed revenue targets quickly.
Working as a Sales Executive / B2B Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting / lead generation, meeting / presenting to businesses and decision makers and negotiating and closing sales.
As the Sales Executive / B2B Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will need Business-to-Business sales experience producing and delivering professional sales proposals and presentations both face-to-face and online. You will also need excellent prospecting skills and the ability to build a pipeline of prospects and explore any tender opportunities.
As a successful candidate you will play a pivotal role in driving new client growth within a company that will support your career development aspirations.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Sales Executive / B2B Sales Development Representative (SDR) include:
- Drive New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage prospective clients through targeted outreach via telephone, email, and in-person meetings
- CRM Management & Optimisation: Leverage and maintain the CRM system (Pipedrive) to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and ensure data integrity for effective reporting and forecasting
- Develop & Present Solutions: Create and deliver professional sales proposals and presentations that clearly articulate value propositions tailored to client needs
- Achieve Sales Targets: Manage the sales cycle from opportunity qualification to successful closure, converting proposals into signed contracts
- Tender Opportunity Identification: Research and uncover tender opportunities through existing platforms, new portals, and procurement engines
- Tender Management: Review, complete, and submit public and private tender responses that align with business capabilities and qualification criteria
- Collaborate on Marketing Alignment: Ensure seamless integration of marketing initiatives with sales strategies to optimise lead generation and brand messaging
- Provide Actionable Market Feedback: Regularly share insights and provide constructive feedback to the marketing and sales teams to continuously improve lead generation strategies across various channels
- Maximise Account Growth: Cultivate and expand relationships with the existing client base to identify and capitalise on opportunities for increased revenue
- Client Engagement & Representation: Attend and lead external client meetings, deliver presentations, and conduct service demonstrations both online and in person
- Negotiate Contracts: Lead contract negotiations, collaborating with the Sales Director to finalise terms that benefit both the client and the company
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Business-to-business sales experience
- Experience in HR, compliance or legal industry, or have transferrable skills from another professional services industry
- Understanding of compliance driven requirements, or a desire to develop this core business function
- Track record for sales growth and hitting revenue targets
- Have excellent written communication skills and a professional writing style
- Have a professional selling manner
