We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Junior Proposal Engineer / Trainee Estimator Assistant who is numerate and proficient in Microsoft Office / 365, including Excel with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Working as the Junior Proposal Engineer / Trainee Estimator Assistant you’ll collaborate closely with the Sales team on large-scale projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience while developing both your technical and commercial expertise. In this role, you’ll assist with preparing project proposals and cost estimates, learn to use hydraulic calculation software, and deepen your understanding of client requirements and project specifications. You’ll also build knowledge of key sprinkler design standards such as LPC BSEN 12845, NFPA, and FM Global.
As the Junior Proposal Engineer / Trainee Estimator Assistant you’ll also manage enquiries, liaise with customers and suppliers, and support the team with administrative tasks and workflow coordination.
