We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a BIM Manager / REVIT Manager who has working knowledge of ‘COBie’ to play a crucial role in leveraging BIM/Revit to enhance the efficiency, accuracy and collaboration for a range of projects. Working as the BIM Manager / Revit Manager, you will be expected to attend Building Information Modelling (BIM) coordination meetings, typically held via Microsoft Teams, for all projects within the contracts office. Furthermore, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all BIM-related enquiries.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for the development and support of the company’s team of engineers in their utilisation of BIM and Revit software. You will also take the lead in determining the optimal approach for project design, guiding the team towards direct design within Revit when deemed most advantageous. DUTIES

  • Attend BIM meetings (Teams) on all projects in the contracts office
  • First port of call for all BIM related matters
  • Improve the Revit usage in the department
  • Develop and support team engineers with BIM/REVIT
  • Lead the team in when it’s best to design straight into Revit
  • Improve and take charge of the administration

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Have a working knowledge of ‘Cobie’
  • Commercial sprinkler design knowledge (BS EN 12845, FM Global, NFPA) is ideal but not essential with training provided
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team, as well as independently
  • Outgoing and positive personality
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and time management skills
  • Ensure effective communication with the wider business
