10am–10pm on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern JOB OVERVIEW This is a rewarding opportunity for a Residential Support Worker to help women move towards safer, more secure futures through trauma-informed, person-centred support. Working within a refuge and the local community, the Residential Support Worker will help create a safe, structured environment that builds confidence, independence and practical life skills. The Residential Support Worker will work with colleagues and partner agencies, combining relationship-building, safeguarding, accurate records and calm responses to challenging situations. DUTIES Your duties as the Residential Support Worker include: Resident Support and Relationships:

Build positive professional relationships and provide trauma-informed, person-centred support Independence and Life Skills:

Deliver daily living skills, wellbeing, leisure, creative and therapeutic activities that encourage confidence and independence Resident Welcome and Induction:

Welcome and induct new residents into the service Safety and Welfare:

Promote a safe, respectful environment and complete regular welfare and building checks Records and Confidentiality:

Record important information accurately and maintain confidential records Challenging Situations:

Respond calmly and sensitively to challenging situations and provide appropriate support Partnership Working:

Work with criminal justice and support agencies to help residents achieve positive outcomes Emergency Responsibilities:

Act as Fire Warden and First Aider when required CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Essential This role is open to women only .
