DUTIES: Your duties as the Mortgage Advisor / Life & Protection Financial Advisor include:
- Provide Advice: Deliver tailored mortgage and protection advice based on individual client needs
- Case Management: Manage applications end-to-end from initial consultation through to completion
- Lender Sourcing: Source suitable products from a wide panel of lenders across the market
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term client and introducer relationships
- Compliance: Ensure all activities meet FCA regulations and compliance standards
- Product Coverage: Advise on residential, buy-to-let, and specialist lending where appropriate
- Appointment Handling: Work with pre-qualified, pre-booked appointments to maximise efficiency
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL:
- CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification and Competent Adviser Status (CAS)
- Previous experience in providing mortgage and protection advice within the UK market
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products, lenders, and financial services regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a client-focused approach
- Ability to manage workload independently in a remote working environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and case management skills
DESIRABLE:
- Experience with whole-of-market mortgage sourcing
- Background in buy-to-let or specialist lending
- Proven ability to build introducer relationships and generate business
