We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at AIRSYS for a HVAC Project Manager with cooling solutions, project delivery, site survey, CDM 2015 and client management experience.

SALARY: £56,950 per annum (depending on experience) + £5,520 Car Allowance + Benefits

LOCATION: Home-Based (Remote) with Client Visits nationally when required

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an HVAC Project Manager to join Airsys UK and support the delivery of cooling equipment projects across critical network and infrastructure environments. As the HVAC Project Manager you will play a key role in the delivery of critical cooling equipment into various telecoms and Data Centre sites across the UK. The HVAC Project Manager will manage site surveys, technical design input, quotations, subcontractors, project budgets, health and safety audits and client handovers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed standards.

DUTIES

  • Contract Delivery: Support the delivery of cooling equipment into various telecoms and Data centre sites across the UK
  • Site Surveys and Design: Carry out site surveys for cooling systems across telecommunication network sites, including product selection, room design and installation specification
  • Project Delivery: Manage projects from initial survey and proposal design through to quotation, order receipt, installation, completion and handover
  • Client And Contractor Relationships: Build and enhance professional relationships with customers, contractors and internal teams
  • Commercial Management: Ensure project margins, financial targets and company forecasting requirements are met
  • Project Reviews: Attend weekly project review calls with senior project and finance stakeholders
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage specialist subcontractors and project budgets to support successful delivery
  • Health and Safety: Carry out regular site health and safety audits and implement company policies and procedures
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and mitigate project issues, offering practical solutions and driving matters through to completion
  • Sales Opportunities: Seek opportunities to promote sales of Airsys products through customer and contractor relationships

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

  • HVAC Experience: proven experience in sales, project management or client management within an HVAC environment
  • Client Focus: highly customer focused, with strong communication and organisational skills
  • CDM Knowledge: thorough knowledge of CDM 2015 requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: technically qualified with knowledge of network cooling solutions, design and building services
  • Project Delivery: experience of delivering HVAC projects that meet client requirements and specified deadlines
  • IT Skills: commercially aware and IT literate, with skills covering Microsoft Word, Excel and project management tools
  • Driving Licence: full driving licence
  • Right To Work: legal right to work in the UK
  • Flexibility: willingness to travel nationally when required, with occasional overnight stays away from home

DESIRABLE

  • Building Services Qualification: HNC level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
  • Site Qualifications: CSCS Black Card and SMSTS
  • HVAC Qualification: formal HVAC qualifications and/or time-served apprenticeship
  • Project Certification: APM or PRINCE2 certification
  • Telecoms or Data Centre Experience: previous experience delivering projects within telecommunications or data centre environments
  • Critical Infrastructure Experience: background in critical plant, pharmaceutical, hospital, telecoms or data centre estates
  • Location: based in the Midlands or South East England
