Creative Fabrication & Design / Retail Theming / Experiential Events / Themed Attractions / Heritage
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a creative multidisciplinary workshop delivering design, fabrication and installation of immersive physical environments for clients across the globe.
If youve worked in the following roles within a creative fabrication, Retail Theming, Experimental Events, Themed Attractions, TV, Film and Theatre set building, ex commercial model making or similar environment, wed like to hear from you: Project Coordinator, Production Manager, Installation Manager, Fabrication Lead, Creative Project or Production Lead, Model Making Supervisor, Fabrication Projects Manager, Bespoke Fabrication Coordinator, Film/TV Special Projects Manager, Art Department Project Manager, Creative Oversight Lead, Technical Fabrication Lead, Design Workshop or Studio Manager
SALARY: £33,000 to £38,000 per annum
LOCATION: Bristol, South West England (Studio Based with Client Site Visits when Required No Remote Working Available)

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex creative builds from concept through to installation.
As a Project Manager you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and contractors to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest creative and technical standards.
The Project Manager will also play a key role in supporting tenders, quotations and client presentations, working closely with sales, marketing and production departments.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and experience in creative production, fabrication or workshop-based project delivery.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Project Manager include:
- Plan And Manage Projects: Deliver fabrication projects from initial brief through to final handover
- Coordinate Teams: Work closely with carpentry, metalwork, scenic and finishing departments to manage workflow
- Budget Management: Track project costs, produce quotes and oversee procurement activity
- Client Liaison: Maintain clear communication with clients and subcontractors throughout project stages
- Timeline Management: Develop schedules, resource plans and risk assessments to ensure timely delivery
- Site Coordination: Organise logistics, delivery to site, crew travel and accommodation
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all creative and technical standards are met across builds
- Health And Safety: Prepare RAMS, Construction Phase Plans and ensure compliance with H&S regulations
- Project Evaluation: Produce progress reports and final project evaluations for internal and client use
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
- Proven experience of managing creative or fabrication-based projects within workshop, studio or production settings
- Strong understanding of materials, construction and fabrication processes
- Experience with production coordination and scheduling tools such as MS Project or similar
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical working drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general MS Office applications
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas
DESIRABLE
- Prince2 or equivalent project management certification
- CAD or graphic design skills
- Hands-on making or workshop experience
- Full UK driving licence
