Job Overview
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for either an experienced Production Operative / Manufacturing Machine Operator or a trainee willing to learn all elements of the role, to join a busy manufacturing team within a modern production facility. Working as the Production Operative / Manufacturing Machine Operator you will support production processes, machine operation and quality assurance, ensuring products meet required standards while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety.
Duties
- Operating Machinery: Run manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Following Procedures: Adhere to established quality and safety standards
- Carrying Out Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance tasks
- Monitoring Output: Identify and report production or quality issues
- Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to meet production goals
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work shift patterns including nights and weekends
- Reliability, punctuality and a flexible attitude to work
