Working as a Production Operative / Assembly Operative you will be responsible for assembling protective cases and rack systems, ensuring all products meet quality standards and customer specifications. You will play a key role within the production team, supporting efficient manufacturing processes while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety, accuracy, and meeting deadlines. DUTIES
- Assemble cases and rack systems in line with drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Install hardware such as handles, hinges, catches, and fixings
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, finish, and compliance with standards
- Ensure all production tasks are completed on time to meet deadlines
- Identify and report faults, damaged materials, or missing components
- Prepare completed items for safe packaging and dispatch
- Follow all procedures, use PPE, and maintain safe working practices
- Keep the workspace clean, organised, and safe
- Work closely with colleagues and support other departments when required
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
