We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Product Designer / UI / UX Designer who has proven product design experience ideally in SaaS,B2B, B2C, or a platform-based businesses, designing for web and mobile apps with strong UX and UI skills.
Working as a Product Designer / UI / UX Designer you’ll work closely with customers and teams from initial research and prototyping through to delivery and iteration, ensuring every solution is relevant, effective, and aligned with the brand’s identity.
As the Product Designer / UI / UX Designer you’ll use evidence-based decision-making to create simple, consistent, and intuitive designs, stay ahead of UI/UX trends, and embrace emerging technologies to enhance quality and efficiency. Balancing user needs with commercial goals, you’ll turn ideas into impactful products that deliver lasting value.
DUTIES
Your duties as the Product Designer / UI / UX Designer include:
- Own the end-to-end design process, from discovery to delivery and iteration
- Understand and solve customer pain points through data, feedback, and user research
- Test designs with real users throughout the product journey to ensure quality and relevance
- Build user personas to create tailored, effective solutions for different needs
- Advocate for customers and users with empathy, curiosity, and strong communication
- Make research-driven design decisions that keep the company at the forefront of the industry
- Enhance and maintain a consistent, simple, and recognisable brand identity across products
- Stay current with UI/UX trends and maintain credibility with stakeholders
- Collaborate across teams, share insights, and influence design choices with confidence
- Leverage emerging technology to boost design quality and efficiency
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven product design experience, ideally in SaaS, B2B, B2C, or platform-based businesses, designing for web and mobile apps
- Strong UX skills – user research, journey mapping, interaction design, accessibility and inclusivity
- Strong UI skills – visual design, design systems, responsive design, and user-centred principles
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe, including prototyping for testing
- Basic front-end knowledge to ensure designs are feasible and communicate well with developers
- Experience with design handoff, providing assets/specs, and checking builds for quality and accuracy
- Collaborative approach, working closely with product managers, engineers, and data analysts to deliver the best user experience
The nice to haves:
- Degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, interaction design, visual arts, or related field
- Knowledge of Agile, Lean UX, or Scrum practices
- Familiarity with design thinking to tackle complex UX challenges
- Understanding of web performance optimisation for efficient user experiences
- Awareness of applied AI for automation and decision support
- A portfolio/examples showing both iterative improvements and final designs
