Commercial Plumber / Pipefitter with experience in plumbing and/or pipe fitting and knowledge of commercial heating and domestic water systems is required for a well-established building services company based in Chelmsford.
SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + Overtime + Benefits
LOCATION: Based in Chelmsford (CM3) and covering all surrounding areas, including London. Must be willing to travel.
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday with Overtime and Weekend availability.

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Commercial Plumber / Pipefitter with experience in plumbing and/or pipe fitting and knowledge of commercial heating and domestic water systems. Working as the Commercial Plumber / Pipefitter you will join a busy and expanding mechanical team carrying out planned works, as well as reactive repairs, at various locations across Chelmsford and the surrounding areas, including London. As the Commercial Plumber / Pipefitter you will be installing, maintaining and repairing commercial pipework, water systems and ground drainage systems. This is a hands-on job that requires a good mix of technical skills, physical stamina, and problem-solving abilities.
DUTIES
- Installation of different pipework including mild steel, copper, cast iron etc.
- Using different jointing methods including but not limited to Press-Fit, grooving, threading, soldering and brazing.
- Installation of 1st and 2nd fix plumbing.
- You will be installing commercial pipework systems including but not limited to LTHW, domestic water systems, above ground drainage and CHWC.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ideally have experience in commercial plumbing / pipefitting.
- Ideally have knowledge of commercial heating and domestic water systems.
- Good problem-solving / fault-finding skills.
- Be able to work well on your own initiative and within a team.
- Full, clean Driving Licence.
- Must be willing to travel.
