We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive / Communications Officer to join a collaborative and forward‑thinking team focused on innovation, engagement and positive impact. This role plays a key part in delivering high‑quality marketing and communications activity across digital and offline channels. You will support campaigns, storytelling and brand governance, ensuring messaging is consistent, engaging and aligned with organisational values. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to promote services, culture and innovation. The Digital Marketing Executive / Communications Officer will contribute to digital content creation, website management, social media campaigns and analytics, helping to enhance visibility and engagement with a wide range of audiences.
Duties
- Content Creation: Developing engaging digital and print content including graphics, images and short‑form media
- Campaign Delivery: Supporting the planning and execution of marketing and communications campaigns
- Digital Channels: Managing and updating website content using CMS platforms and overseeing social media channels
- Brand Governance: Ensuring brand consistency, quality control and tone of voice across all communications
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitoring performance using digital analytics tools and producing insight reports
- SEO and Optimisation: Supporting basic SEO and search optimisation activity to improve visibility
- Stakeholder Engagement: Working collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers and external partners
- Events Support: Coordinating and supporting events, exhibitions and promotional activities
- Supplier Management: Liaising with external suppliers and supporting procurement processes
- Administrative Support: Providing business support including documentation and minute‑taking
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- A relevant undergraduate degree, such as marketing, communications or digital media
- Previous experience in marketing, digital media and communications
- Proven experience using website CMS platforms such as WordPress or Wix
- Experience managing social media channels and campaigns
- Experience creating and editing digital content including images and short‑form media
- Experience with digital collaboration platforms such as Asana, intranets or Canva
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience using digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social platforms
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confident user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
Desirable
- Experience supporting events and exhibitions
- Knowledge of SEO and digital optimisation techniques
- Photography and basic videography skills
