SALARY: £23,132 to £24,770 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

JOB OVERVIEW

This is an excellent opportunity for a Sales Administrator to support a busy sales function where accurate quotations, responsive client service and strong organisation make a real difference.

Working with clients nationwide, the Sales Administrator will handle sales queries, coordinate repeat inspection and remedial quotations, and maintain accurate customer and lead information.

For a Sales Administrator who enjoys building rapport and working collaboratively, the position offers scope to contribute ideas within a friendly, supportive team.

DUTIES

  • Sales Call Handling: Handle sales calls politely and professionally, responding to client queries in a timely manner
  • Repeat Inspection Quotations: Chase, monitor and prepare accurate quotations for repeat inspections and remedial work
  • Data Processing: Process sales and customer data accurately
  • Client Relationships: Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing clients nationwide
  • Lead and Enquiry Management: Respond to leads and manage enquiries efficiently and responsively
  • CRM Records: Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records for customers and leads

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

  • GCSE-level qualifications (or equivalent) including Maths and English
  • Previous experience in sales administration or a customer-facing role
  • Proven track record of handling client enquiries and preparing quotations
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients nationwide
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage own workload
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

DESIRABLE

  • Hands-on experience with CRM software
  • Experience using online tender portals
  • Experience in construction or the steeplejack trade
