We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation operating within the renewable energy sector. This role offers the chance to combine customer engagement, technical understanding and commercial awareness. As a Sales Administrator, you will manage incoming enquiries for renewable heating and energy systems, supporting customers from initial contact through to quotation and project progression. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure solutions are accurate, compliant and commercially competitive. This Sales Administrator role is ideal for someone with a background in sales support or administration, strong communication skills and a genuine interest in sustainable technologies, with full training provided to support your development.
Duties- Customer Enquiry Management: Responding to inbound enquiries and understanding customer requirements
- Sales Support Coordination: Supporting the sales process from initial contact through to project completion
- Quotation Preparation: Producing accurate and competitive cost estimates and written quotations
- Site Visit Scheduling: Coordinating and attending site assessments when required
- Solution Design Support: Assisting with tailored renewable energy system proposals
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective customers
- Compliance Administration: Ensuring documentation meets regulatory and industry standards
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate CRM records, reports and sales documentation
- Continuous Improvement: Supporting improvements in estimating and sales administration processes
- Previous experience in a sales administration, sales support or customer-facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail when preparing quotations and documentation
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- A full clean UK driving licence
- Experience within renewables, construction or technical sales environments
- A commercial mindset with confidence supporting sales activity
- Familiarity with CRM systems and estimating or cost analysis tools
