This field sales role combines account management with new business development across the KBB, furniture manufacturing and interior products sectors. As an Area Sales Manager you will promote premium edgebanding, decorative boards, acrylic surfaces and storage systems to a wide B2B customer base. You will build strong customer relationships, identify opportunities and manage a structured sales pipeline using CRM systems. The successful Area Sales Manager will be commercially driven, highly organised and confident presenting premium products and technical solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in furniture components, decorative surfaces or interior solutions sales.
DUTIES
- Account Management: manage and develop an established portfolio of customers across North East England and Scotland
- Business Development: identify, prospect and secure new B2B sales opportunities within the KBB and furniture manufacturing sectors
- Relationship Building: establish strong long-term partnerships with customers, distributors and industry contacts
- Product Promotion: present and demonstrate premium edgebanding, decorative boards, acrylic surfaces and storage solutions
- Sales Planning: implement strategic sales plans to support revenue growth and market expansion
- CRM Management: maintain accurate customer records, pipeline activity and competitor insight using CRM systems
- Customer Support: understand customer requirements and recommend suitable interior product solutions
- Market Analysis: monitor industry trends, competitor activity and commercial opportunities across the region
- Sales Presentations: confidently communicate product quality, technical features and commercial benefits
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience within interior solutions, furniture components, decorative boards, edgebanding or related sectors
- Proven experience in field sales, business development and account management

- Experience developing pipelines, generating leads and achieving sales targets
