We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Transport Administrator / Fleet Coordinator who has previous knowledge and experience in a transport / fleet role with excellent administrative, organisational and time-management skills. Working as a Transport Administrator / Fleet Coordinator you will be required to provide an administration support service to the Transport Manager on all day-to-day fleet activities at the company’s head office in Newton Le Willows. As a Transport Administrator / Fleet Coordinator you will have a strong attention to detail with previous transport / fleet experience.
DUTIES
- Data management including maintaining the Vehicle database, and monthly reporting
- Assisting with fleet duties such as vehicle management to include fuel card management, provision of daily rental vehicles, MID compliance, vehicle servicing and maintenance, monitoring of events from the tracking and camera systems; and driver management parking permits, driving offences, licence checks, new starters etc
- Monthly checks to ensure adherence to the fleet policies and procedures
- To maintain operation within the fleet department and ensure that SLA’s / KPI’s are met
- Assisting the Transport Manager with reporting
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a transport/ fleet role is essential
- Strong attention to detail for data purposes
- Strong oral and written communication skills to coordinate and build relationships
- Knowledge of the industry and self-motivated to learn and develop knowledge further
- Resilient with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Flexible and can adapt to changing demands and conditions
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Confident user of Microsoft Office packages
