We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Estate Compliance Officer to join a busy public sector property and estates management team supporting school PFI contracts. As the Estate Compliance Officer you will support facilities management, contract compliance, asset management and building compliance activities across a varied education property portfolio. The role includes financial monitoring, lifecycle management, planned maintenance audits, contractor performance reviews and stakeholder liaison. Working closely with contractors, schools and senior stakeholders, the Estate Compliance Officer will support public sector property operations, change control processes and contract management activities while helping to deliver value for money, compliance and service improvement across PFI contracts.
DUTIES- Supporting Contract Compliance: Assisting with the management and monitoring of PFI contracts and contractual obligations
- Managing Financial Monitoring: Coordinating invoices, budget tracking and contractor performance deductions
- Reviewing Contractor Performance: Supporting audits, compliance checks and contractor performance reporting activities
- Supporting Estates Management: Assisting with public sector property, estates management and facilities management activities
- Coordinating Planned Maintenance: Supporting lifecycle management reviews, planned maintenance audits and condition surveys
- Maintaining Compliance Records: Supporting change control procedures, contract variations and asset management documentation
- Building Stakeholder Relationships: Liaising with schools, contractors, council officers and external partners
- Preparing Reports and Meetings: Organising meetings and producing reports for operational and senior management teams
- Providing Operational Support: Deputising for the PFI Contract Manager when required
- Previous Experience: Experience within estates management, facilities management, contract compliance or public sector property environments
- Contract Management Knowledge: Experience supporting PFI contracts, contractor performance monitoring or compliance activities
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse technical, contractual and financial information accurately
- IT Proficiency: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise workloads, manage detailed records and meet deadlines
- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy when maintaining compliance documentation and reports
- Problem-Solving Ability: Able to support service improvement, planned maintenance and operational compliance activities
