Location: Hybrid Working. Your time split between working from home and the office in Sydenham. There will also be a requirement to travel to other offices within the Borough of Lewisham when required.

Job Overview: We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an IT Systems Manager with experience managing digital systems, SaaS platforms, Microsoft 365, ICT coordination and service desk operations. As the IT Systems Manager you will oversee the day-to-day management, governance and continuous improvement of the organisation’s digital ecosystem, helping teams use business systems effectively and securely. Working as the IT Systems Manager you will coordinate the ICT and SaaS Helpdesk function, manage supplier relationships, support onboarding and off-boarding, and drive digital capability across the organisation.
Duties:
- Digital Systems Management: Manage the organisation’s portfolio of SaaS platforms and cloud-based business systems end-to-end.
- ICT and SaaS Helpdesk: Oversee the support function, coordinating requests, priorities and service delivery.
- User Administration: Coordinate onboarding, off-boarding, permissions and system access across digital platforms.
- Systems Governance: Maintain accurate operational records, documentation and digital governance processes.
- Supplier Management: Work with suppliers, vendors and Managed Service Providers to support smooth system performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, systems usage and staff experience.
- Staff Support and Training: Provide guidance, support and digital training to help colleagues use systems confidently.
- Microsoft 365 Support: Support effective use of Microsoft 365 and other cloud-based tools across the organisation.
- Operational Priorities: Manage multiple systems, activities and service requests within a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Relevant Qualification: Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Digital Operations Experience: Previous experience in digital operations, business systems, SaaS administration, ICT coordination or a similar operational digital environment.
- Systems Management: Proven experience managing digital systems, SaaS platforms or business systems within an operational environment.
- Helpdesk Coordination: Experience coordinating a helpdesk, service desk or digital support function.
- User Administration: Experience coordinating onboarding, off-boarding and user administration processes.
- Staff Support: Experience delivering staff support, guidance or training.
- Microsoft 365 Knowledge: Strong digital literacy across Microsoft 365 and cloud-based systems.
- Supplier Liaison: Experience working with suppliers or Managed Service Providers.
- Organisation Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, systems and operational activities simultaneously.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate operational records.
- Operational Mindset: Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Desirable:
- Professional Certifications: Microsoft 365, ITIL Foundation or Salesforce Administrator certification.
- Project Platform Experience: Experience with Asana, ticketing tools or project management platforms.
- Digital Transformation: Qualification or training in digital transformation, business systems, process improvement, project coordination or change management.
- Automation Tools: Exposure to Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools.
- Sector Experience: Experience within supported housing, social care, healthcare, charity or other regulated sectors.
- Salesforce Knowledge: Experience using or administering Salesforce.
- Microsoft Administration: Familiarity with Microsoft Intune or Entra.
- Digital Governance: Knowledge of GDPR, SaaS governance and digital governance principles.
- Knowledge Resources: Experience creating knowledge bases, SOPs or digital training resources.
