JOB OVERVIEW

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and commercially aware IT Project Coordinator who enjoys working with clients, technical teams and structured delivery processes. As the IT Project Coordinator you will support multiple projects across different stages of the lifecycle, helping to schedule work, maintain accurate project records, track actions and provide clear status updates. The IT Project Coordinator will work closely with a senior project manager and technical colleagues, supporting a more structured and scalable PMO while developing confidence in delivery quality, client communication, project hygiene, governance and continuous improvement.

DUTIES

  • Coordinate Client Projects: Support multiple IT migration, security, onboarding and implementation projects across different stages of the lifecycle.
  • Manage Scheduling and Updates: Liaise with clients to organise project work, meetings, communications and progress updates.
  • Maintain Project Records: Keep accurate actions, timelines, status updates and project information in Notion.
  • Track Delivery Activity: Help monitor milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, changes and blockers.
  • Support Project Governance: Assist with delivery governance across fixed-budget projects and Agile-style workflows.
  • Prepare Communications: Help produce project updates, meeting notes, user-facing guides and client communications.
  • Escalate Concerns: Raise blockers, scope concerns or client issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support Process Improvement: Identify repeated manual administration and suggest opportunities for automation or better ways of working.
  • Work with Technical Teams: Help keep project execution practical, clear, well sequenced and aligned with client expectations.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a client-facing IT project coordination or junior project management role.
  • Experience supporting customer deployments, onboarding work or larger project implementations.
  • Good background in delivering projects, including experience with Office 365.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Good general IT knowledge, with an interest in Microsoft cloud technologies.
  • Awareness of Agile ways of working and willingness to work towards a relevant credential.
  • Excellent coordination, planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to respond to tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisational discipline and attention to detail.
