SALARY:

£44,000 - £54,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Performance Bonus + Benefits. The full salary range of £48,000 - £54,000 per annum is available for candidates who meet the full role criteria. Candidates with strong transferable sector knowledge or experience of regulated activities in another sector, and the potential to develop into the full role, may be considered at £44,000 - £48,000 per annum LOCATION:

Office based in Waterloo, Liverpool, with occasional travel and work in London. Hybrid working may be possible once the new role is established JOB TYPE:

Full-Time, Permanent WORKING HOURS:

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The business operates between 08:00 and 18:00, with occasional management cover required outside these hours for change and project activities

JOB OVERVIEW This is an exciting opportunity for an Energy Compliance Manager to develop into a key role supporting regulatory compliance, performance improvement and service optimisation across managed heat network services. As the Energy Compliance Manager, you will work with internal teams and external clients to review service performance, support reporting, identify practical improvements and help the organisation respond effectively to evolving heat network regulation. The Energy Compliance Manager will also contribute to client consultancy, new business proposals, internal and client training, and wider continuous improvement activity, while continuing to build sector knowledge and confidence in a supportive environment.

DUTIES Your duties as the Energy Compliance Manager include: Regulatory Compliance:

Support, guide and shape the organisation in achieving and maintaining compliance with new heat network regulations Performance Monitoring:

Review and monitor managed heat network services, helping to identify optimisation opportunities and support clear reporting Client Consultancy:

Provide practical support to new and existing clients, helping to shape service solutions and contribute to new business proposals Training Support:

Help design and deliver training and CPD sessions internally and for clients Sector Knowledge:

Keep up to date with evolving regulations, implementation challenges and wider sector developments Service Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve quality, delivery, processes and service outcomes Commercial Input:

Support sound commercial decisions through good business awareness, practical judgement and a willingness to learn Senior Team Contribution:

Contribute positively to management discussions, support change and work collaboratively across the organisation

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL A good understanding of heat network regulation, with the enthusiasm to continue developing your knowledge Relevant experience in energy management, regulated utilities, metering and billing, housing, property management or a related area Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality, performance and continuous improvement Demonstrable experience delivering service improvements and driving change Confident communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, senior stakeholders and external clients Good commercial awareness with the ability to make sound business decisions Self-motivated, delivery focused and able to work both collaboratively and independently A positive, solutions-focused approach with a genuine desire to solve problems and improve services DESIRABLE A background in delivering heat network related services Project or programme management skills Degree level education, or HNC / HND level with strong vocational experience and relevant qualifications Project management qualifications or related accreditation Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
