NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – FULL TRAINING PROVIDED. If you have experience as a Manufacturing Operative, Warehouse Operative, Goods-In Operative, Dispatch Operative or similar, working with production processes, quality standards and engineering components that is great! However, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

JOB OVERVIEW
Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, we have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Production Operative. As a Production Operative you will support goods inwards, production processing, quality assurance and dispatch activities within a busy aerospace manufacturing environment. Working with precision-engineered components, you will ensure customer documentation, MRP system records and production processes are completed accurately.
The Production Operative will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, supporting continuous production flow and ensuring components are prepared, processed and dispatched in accordance with customer specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.
DUTIES
- Processing Customer Orders: Receive and check incoming aerospace components against customer documentation and orders
- Maintaining MRP Records: Enter and update order information accurately within the company’s MRP system
- Preparing Components: Prepare aerospace parts for processing in line with customer requirements and internal procedures
- Dispatch Preparation: Package completed components carefully to prevent damage during transit
- Following Procedures: Adhere to internal and customer‑specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Achieving Production Targets: Support production objectives while maintaining required specifications and quality standards
- Handling Components Carefully: Ensure all aerospace components are handled with the highest level of care
- Completing Documentation: Accurately complete production and quality records in a timely manner
- Maintaining Standards: Consistently achieve acceptable quality standards throughout all stages of processing
- Housekeeping Duties: Maintain a clean, organised and efficient working environment
- Supporting Health and Safety: Work safely and report hazards, incidents or unsafe conditions promptly
- Environmental Compliance: Support environmental policies and report any actual or potential concerns
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Strong focus on quality, accuracy and maintaining high standards
- Good organisational skills with the ability to process documentation, data entry and production records accurately
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, work specifications and Standard Operating Procedures
- Careful and methodical approach when working with precision‑engineered aerospace components
- Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Reliable, motivated and willing to learn new skills
- Previous experience in manufacturing, aerospace, production, warehouse operations, goods inwards, dispatch, logistics, engineering or a similar environment would be advantageous
