This is manual, hands-on work rather than machine operation, making it particularly suitable for someone who enjoys practical tasks requiring care, concentration and precision. SALARY: £12.71 per Hour + Benefits JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm This is an excellent opportunity for a careful and methodical Production Operative to carry out specialist masking work in preparation for painting and surface finishing. Working as the Production Operative, you will apply masking tape by hand to specific areas of components, ensuring only the required surfaces are exposed for painting. This is intricate manual work where accuracy is critical, and small positioning errors can affect the quality of the finished component. As the Production Operative, you will support high-quality production processes within a precision manufacturing setting, following drawings, instructions, masking requirements, health and safety standards and environmental procedures.
