We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an experienced fractional Financial Controller to support a manufacturing business in Liverpool. The business is growing and is in need of a seasoned finance professional to help drive the business forward on a Part-Time basis. Due to the growth of the business they will be looking to upgrade their current software from Legacy SAP to SAP S/4Hana.
This will be a hands-on position, and as the Financial Controller your responsibilities include dealing with budgets, forecasts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and leading the internal Finance team.
As a successful candidate you will be an experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Preferably, you are already self-employed (or happy to transition to self-employed) and available quickly with at least 3 days of availability per week.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Budgets, cashflow and profit forecasting
- Experience with Legacy SAP
- Experience of managing and leading a small team
- Experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls
- Year-end processes (but not statutory accounts)
- Experienced excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs
- Proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
- You must be fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACMA / FCCA / ICAEW) or QBE with experience managing a finance team
- The company cannot offer sponsorship to overseas workers. Applicants must have UK-based experience as a Financial Controller.
