Driver / Operative position with a well‑established waste management company based in Dunmow, Essex. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – FULL TRAINING PROVIDED. The company will provide a work‑only vehicle; you need your own car to get to the site each day.

Job Overview: We are expanding due to new contracts and require drivers for waste collection (dog waste and litter bins) across a 60‑mile radius from Dunmow. The role is outdoor and requires independent time‑management, physical fitness and basic vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Cover a designated territory to service waste and litter bins.
  • Empty dog waste and litter bins in parks and public areas.
  • Perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and perform basic upkeep of the company vehicle.
  • Keep tools and equipment clean and functional.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Identify and report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Liaise effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (required for operating the company vehicle).
