SALARY: £44,246 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: Mobberley, Cheshire, North West England (WA16)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 Hours per Week (Flexi Hours based around operational hours 7am - 7pm)

You’ll report into the International Head of Sales. As a Sales Development Manager you will be a key member of a small (7) hard working team who have lots of knowledge to share. You’ll bring a good awareness and commercial understanding of the activities and challenges of a multi-channel specialist sales channel business.

This role will suit someone who is process and data-driven and has an analytical mindset. You’ll understand the importance of hard work, achieving results and taking ownership. You’ll also be a data whizz as a vital part of this role is gathering and sorting data from a range of sources to underpin business decisions.
As the Sales Development Manager you’ll be a skilled multi-level relationship builder, knowing how to effectively communicate inside and outside the organisation and work with a range of stakeholders. You’ll be gathering information, finding out where the sales opportunities are, making recommendations, proactively driving sales for existing and new customers and products, alongside prioritising the many responsibilities of being a successful sales professional.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales account management, sales development or business development
- Commercial Awareness: Proven experience of developing profitable sales, identifying opportunities and supporting business improvements
- Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to use insight to inform decisions and prioritise activity
- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build credible relationships across multiple levels
- Communication Skills: Confident communicator with strong influencing, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Organisation Skills: Able to manage deadlines, balance conflicting priorities and take ownership of responsibilities
- Problem Solving: Solution-focused approach with the ability to respond positively to change and business needs
- Team Working: Works well as part of a multi-disciplinary team and supports colleagues to achieve shared goals
- Flexibility: Willing to adapt within the role and support team priorities when required
