IT Service Delivery Manager
An excellent opportunity for a skilled IT professional to lead application and service delivery, driving digital transformation and managing business systems across a forward-thinking organisation.

SALARY: £59,009 – £64,673 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: Hybrid role – working part from the office in Wokingham and part from home

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an IT Service Delivery Manager.
As an IT Service Delivery Manager you will lead a team of specialists ensuring that business applications and IT services are strategically aligned, secure, and fit for purpose.
In this role you will oversee the full application lifecycle, manage vendor relationships, and deliver on technical projects that support digital transformation.
The IT Service Delivery Manager will play a key role in driving continual improvement, supporting colleagues across the organisation, and ensuring applications and services meet operational and service requirements.

DUTIES
Your duties as the IT Service Delivery Manager include:
- Lead IT Strategy: Develop, implement and manage the organisation’s application and service delivery strategy
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Act as an enabler for ongoing enhancement of IT services and applications
- Technical Project Leadership: Oversee system implementations and major projects, ensuring resources and documentation are in place
- Application & Service Management: Manage upgrades, integrations, interfaces, incidents, changes, and problem resolution
- Data Integrity: Work with technical specialists on data migration and data quality within systems
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Oversee contracts, procurement, and supplier performance for application vendors
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with colleagues across all Directorates to align applications and services with strategic goals
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and aptitude
- Proven experience of managing enterprise applications, databases, SaaS, cloud platforms, and integrations
- Previous experience in managing technical projects and IT teams to deliver business outcomes
- Experience with supplier management, procurement processes, and vendor negotiations
- A strong background in incident, problem and change management within IT service delivery
- Full UK Driving Licence
