Working as a Production Operative / Assembly Operative you will be responsible for assembling protective cases and rack systems, ensuring all products meet quality standards and customer specifications. DUTIES

  • Assemble cases and rack systems in line with drawings, specifications, and work instructions
  • Install hardware such as handles, hinges, catches, and fixings
  • Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy, finish, and compliance with standards
  • Ensure all production tasks are completed on time to meet deadlines
  • Identify and report faults, damaged materials, or missing components
  • Prepare completed items for safe packaging and dispatch
  • Follow all procedures, use PPE, and maintain safe working practices
  • Keep the workspace clean, organised, and safe
  • Work closely with colleagues and support other departments when required
