The organisation has an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Technical Sales Support Engineer to support customers and the internal sales team with technical enquiries, product selection, quotations and sales administration. Working across a broad product portfolio, as the Graduate Technical Sales Support Engineer you will gain knowledge of water pumps, control panels, variable speed drives, plastic fittings and associated accessories. Full product and application training will be provided, making this a strong entry point for someone motivated to build a long-term career in a technical sales environment. DUTIES
- Customer Enquiries: Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, providing prompt, clear and professional support
- Product Selection: Interpret technical requirements and assist with selecting appropriate pump systems and associated equipment
- Quotations: Prepare and issue accurate, competitive quotations based on customer specifications
- Sales Team Support: Provide technical and commercial insight to support the sales team with product applications
- Product Knowledge: Build and maintain knowledge across pumps, controls, drives and accessories
- Customer Communication: Answer incoming telephone calls and direct or resolve queries effectively
- Relationship Building: Develop strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality service
- Troubleshooting Support: Provide guidance and basic troubleshooting support where required
- Sales Administration: Assist with order processing, enquiry tracking and general sales administration (estimated 20% of your time)
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations and customer communications
