HR Administrator / Minute Taker / Note Taker who can take down accurate word for word meeting notes / minutes during staff disciplinaries and investigations into misconduct is required for a well-established and growing company based in Gillingham, Kent. Previous HR experience isn’t required. However, you will need proven minute / note taking experience.

This role can be quite intense, but interesting for the right individual who will need to distance themselves from, sometimes heated exchanges between HR, Staff Members and Trade Union Representatives during disciplinary meetings and focus on the job in hand, which is taking detailed minutes / meeting notes, which may be used in legal proceedings. Hence the need for taking down full transcripts of the meetings with a high level of accuracy. If you’re quite a sensitive person that takes offence easily, then this isn’t the job for you.

SALARY: up to £26,395 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an HR Administrator / Minute Taker / Note Taker who can take down accurate word for word meeting notes / minutes during staff disciplinaries and investigations into misconduct. Working as the HR Administrator / Minute Taker / Note Taker a large part of your job will be to sit in disciplinary meetings and take detailed notes. These meetings can last from 30 minutes to sometimes 3 hours, so you must have a high attention span with the stamina to take detailed minutes / notes for the duration.

As the HR Administrator / Minute Taker / Note Taker you will also support the Human Resources Team with a range of administrative based duties from preparing offers of employment and employment contracts, maintaining and updating the HR system, monitoring sickness and staff absences, preparing reports and assisting with day-to-day HR enquiries.

The company has had previous success hiring HR Candidates from the Care industry. Even though this business isn’t a care company, HR Admin candidates from the care sector seem to have a lot of transferrable skills, especially when it comes to taking detail minutes / meeting notes. So, if you work in Care as an HR Administrative Assistant or similar and have great note taking skills, then we want to hear from you.

We’re also happy to hear from experienced minute takers / note takers from all industry backgrounds, even if you don’t have an HR background. As a successful candidate the company will pay for CIPD training, should you wish to pursue this.
