NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – FULL ON THE JOB TRAINING PROVIDED
If you have a H&S / SHEQ background, then great. If not, that’s fine too providing you have a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, as the company will provide full on the job training and support.
SALARY: £120 per Day (depending on training and qualifications) + Benefits
LOCATION: East London with Travel to Client Sites (Customer sites can be very local. However, there may be times when you’ll need to travel approximately 120 mile radius from your home location)

WORKING HOURS: Flexible 2–4 days per week, Monday to Friday (No Weekends)
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- A Full Driving Licence with your own vehicle (including business insurance) (mileage paid by the company)

JOB OVERVIEW
Due to continued growth, the company has an exciting opportunity for both trainee and experienced assessors to join its supportive team as a Health & Safety Officer / Risk Assessor. The Health & Safety Officer / Risk Assessor will visit customer sites to complete fire risk assessments, legionella risk assessments, health and safety inspections and disability access assessments. As a Health & Safety Officer / Risk Assessor you will prepare professional reports using company software, identify hazards, recommend remedial actions and work closely with clients and the office team.
DUTIES
- Site Assessments: Visit customer sites to carry out fire, legionella, health and safety and disability access risk assessments
- Report Preparation: Prepare clear and accurate reports using company software on your own Android or iPad device
- Hazard Identification: Identify hazards and recommend suitable remedial actions
- Client Service: Build positive working relationships with clients while delivering a professional service
- Workload Management: Manage workloads across 2–4 working days per week
- Travel Requirements: Travel to customer sites, including multiple sites in one day and occasional overnight stays
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and the office team to support effective scheduling and service delivery
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle and business insurance
- NEBOSH Qualification: NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
- Communication Skills: Good communication and customer service skills
- Professional Approach: Positive, reliable and professional attitude
- Travel Flexibility: Comfortable with regular travel and occasional overnight stays
- Technology Skills: Ability to use an Android or iPad device with data connection
