Head of Sales & Marketing with a proven track record of success within the SaaS / Technology / Software sector. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and management skills, demonstrating the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams. JOB OVERVIEW: We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Head of Sales & Marketing with a proven track record of success within the SaaS / Technology / Software sector. This is a highly operational role demanding a β€˜hands-on’ approach. You will initially lead a small, dedicated sales and marketing team, with the exciting opportunity to significantly expand both departments and grow into international markets. Working as the Head of Sales & Marketing you will become an integral member of the senior management team, reporting directly to the CEO. A key responsibility will be developing and executing a strategic plan for global expansion, with an initial focus on the UK, European, and Americas markets. Approximately 70% of your time as the Head of Sales & Marketing will be dedicated to identifying and capitalising on market opportunities. This involves conceiving and implementing innovative, data-driven marketing campaigns across a diverse range of channels, with a meticulous focus on analysing campaign performance and return on investment. The remaining 30% of your time will be devoted to overseeing the sales team, ensuring they consistently achieve ambitious KPIs and targets.

DUTIES: Your duties as the Head of Sales & Marketing include:

  • Lead and execute innovative go-to-market strategies to drive global expansion for SAP Supply Chain Software. While prior SAP experience is beneficial, a strong background in SaaS / Technology or Software is essential.
  • Develop and implement creative campaigns and initiatives to attract and retain high-value enterprise clients, fostering long-term customer relationships.
  • Design and implement competitive pricing models that maximise revenue and profitability while securing high-value enterprise deals.
  • Expand market reach through strategic partnerships, including with SAP and global platforms, while establishing a robust and diverse multi-channel sales presence.
  • Spearhead product launches with impactful market positioning, comprehensive marketing plans, and high-quality sales enablement materials.
  • Foster a high-performing culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaborative teamwork across sales and marketing departments.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Bring a wealth of experience from a sales and marketing background within a SaaS / Technology / Software environment. Have a proven track record of scaling software businesses across global markets. Be a strategic thinker with a creative edge, you excel at crafting and executing strategies through the use of data-driven decisions that drive software growth. Previous experience working in the SAP / Supply Chain Software (SaaS) industry would be highly desirable.
