Job Overview: We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Project Coordinator (Rail / Engineering) to support site-based rail maintenance, refurbishment, and engineering projects. This role focuses on project coordination, reporting, quality control, and stakeholder communication in a fast‑paced environment. As a Project Coordinator (Rail / Engineering) you will provide day‑to‑day operational coordination, ensuring accurate project tracking, production planning, and compliance with quality and safety standards. You will manage project data, support workflow efficiency, and utilise digital reporting tools including spreadsheets and forms. The Project Coordinator (Rail / Engineering) will act as a key point of contact for client liaison, resolving on‑site queries and supporting continuous improvement across operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational, administrative, and problem‑solving skills within rail or engineering sectors.

Duties:

  • Project Coordination and Tracking: Maintain daily trackers to ensure real‑time visibility of project progress.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Manage project data using spreadsheets, digital forms, and reporting systems.
  • Timesheet Management: Accurately track and log staff hours per unit, ensuring timely submission.
  • Client Liaison and Communication: Handle client queries and escalations, providing effective on‑site solutions.

  • Quality Control and Inspection: Conduct film thickness testing and quality checks in line with engineering standards.

  • Equipment and Asset Checks: Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and operational.

Candidate Requirements:
