We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a School Premises Manager / Facilities Manager to lead the operational management of a school site, ensuring facilities are safe, compliant, and well maintained.
As a School Premises Manager / Facilities Manager you will oversee day-to-day site operations including maintenance, cleaning, and security, while supporting capital projects and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
The School Premises Manager / Facilities Manager will also manage caretaking and cleaning teams, coordinate contractors, and work closely with leadership to support operational needs.
This role suits a proactive individual with facilities management experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage resources effectively within a fast-paced education setting.
Your duties as the School Premises Manager / Facilities Manager include:
- Site Operations Management: Oversee daily operation, maintenance, and security of the school site
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities meet statutory regulations and safety standards
- Team Leadership: Line manage caretaking and cleaning staff, including training and supervision
- Contractor Coordination: Manage external contractors and service providers effectively
