We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Lecturer in Digital and Business Transformation to join a progressive higher education environment delivering innovative teaching across undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education programmes.

As a Lecturer in Digital and Business Transformation you will contribute to curriculum development in AI for business, digital transformation, organisational change and management education while supporting students to develop AI literacy and strategic decision-making skills.

The organisation is seeking a collaborative academic or industry professional with expertise in digital transformation, AI strategy, research, teaching, learning development and stakeholder engagement. The Lecturer in Digital and Business Transformation will also support partnerships with business, charitable and public-sector organisations.

Your duties as the Lecturer in Digital and Business Transformation include:

  • Deliver Teaching Sessions: Provide lectures, seminars, tutorials, workshops and assessment activities across relevant subject areas.
  • Develop Curriculum Content: Support and lead the development of Digital and Business Transformation and AI for Business modules.
  • Support Student Learning: Provide academic guidance, pastoral support and supervision for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Supervise Projects: Oversee student research projects and applied academic work.
  • Maintain Subject Expertise: Keep knowledge current in AI strategy, digital transformation and organisational change.
  • Contribute to Research Activities: Participate in research, publications, conference presentations and externally funded projects.
  • Undertake Administrative Duties: Support timetabling, student selection, attendance monitoring and examination processes.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and consultancy opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a first degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a related subject area.
  • Strong understanding of Digital and Business Transformation and AI for business.
  • Experience within academic teaching, research or professional practice in related areas.
  • Ability to establish collaborative links with academic, business and public-sector partners.
  • Able to provide guidance, mentoring and learning support to students.
  • A PhD in a related subject area would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in AI strategy, organisational change or digital transformation projects.
  • Experience developing innovative teaching materials and learning approaches.
  • Experience building internal and external professional networks.
