Gaming Community Manager / Player Engagement Specialist who has a passion for gaming with perfect written English, experience in community building and conflict resolution with gamers, and social media expertise, especially using Discord and Twitter/X, is required for a brand-new game launching on the 8th September 2025.
SALARY: £17 per Hour / €19.50 per Hour
LOCATION: Remote (Candidates must be based in the UK or Ireland)
JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Contract
WORKING HOURS: 4 to 6 hours per day, 4 to 5 days per week – aligned with French working hours (1 hour ahead of UK)
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Gaming Community Manager / Player Engagement Specialist with a passion for gaming, excellent English writing skills, experience in community building and conflict resolution, and social media expertise, especially on Discord and Twitter/X.
As the Gaming Community Manager / Player Engagement Specialist, you will be the voice of the brand, building a thriving, engaged community for this upcoming game.
This role offers a chance to shape the community from the ground up, working closely with the development team and acting as the bridge between gamers and creators.
DUTIES
Your responsibilities include:
- Planning and Reporting: Collaborate with the Community Development team on social media messaging and consolidate player feedback into regular reports.
- Content Creation: Develop and schedule engaging content for social media, including calendar planning, post wording, and briefing for assets. Basic Adobe Photoshop skills are required for designing digital assets.
- Community Engagement: Be the first point of contact for the community, answer questions, provide basic support, and coordinate volunteer moderators.
Pre-Launch Certification (Week of Sept 1):
Participate in an intensive pre-launch program including:
- 3 hours reviewing Discord and social channels to understand the company\'s tone
- 3 days of in-game immersion to familiarize yourself with the game
- Building the initial content calendar, engagement templates, and tone guidelines

- Solid technical understanding of games and gaming platforms
